Biography
Dr. Randall has taught at Dalton since 2011. She has one German Shepherd, one cat, one hamster, and one fish...and four children: Elizabeth, Edison, Evelyn, and Eleanor. When she is not teaching or grading...or chasing after her children, she loves eating frozen yogurt and chocolate, or any dessert really, and watching movies.
She also enjoys running and walking, along with yoga. Her husband is an innovation lead chemist at Field Turf USA in Calhoun but often gets to travel the world. Dr. Randall shares stories of her husband's travels or any experience she finds amusing.
Her academic interests include Rhetoric and Composition, Medieval Rhetoric and British Literature, Creative Writing, and Business and Technical Writing. Dr. Randall loves visitors and will happily discuss earning an English degree, going to graduate school, or just chatting about life. She also usually has candy in her office!
